Canada data region now available

Founders can now start a Kinde business and select Quebec, Canada as the data region. Pretty cool, eh?

Support for SHA-256 password hashing

Kinde now lets you add and import users who’s existing password is hashed using the SHA-256 method. Your users will never know you switched to Kinde for authentication. Learn more about importing users.

API updates

You can now do all these things via API:

• Configure token expiry

• Update connections

• Configure API scopes

• Logout (revoke sessions and tokens) for a user

• Get, configure, and delete MFA for users

• Configure and delete MFA for users in orgs (almost ready)

Fully customize the auth experience (Sign up for beta)

Soon you will be able to fully customize the authentication experience from within Kinde. You’ll be able to change the copy on all your auth screens (in every language you use), add your own CSS to make your brand stand out, and fully design what your customers see when they sign up and sign in. Kinde AI now in docs search

You can ask the Kinde docs questions using the AI-powered search bar. You can still use keywords and traditional search, or ask a whole specific question.
